Inesa Chilingaryan (AUA MPH 2016), Laboratory Network Coordinator in the National TB Control Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia

Inesa Chilingaryan has been appointed as the Laboratory Network Coordinator in the National TB Control Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. She received an MPH degree from AUA School of Public Health in 2016. Her MPH thesis project was a quantitative research on the risk factors of urinary stone disease in Armenia. She earned a Master of Science in Medical Biochemistry from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University Department of Medical Biology in 2013. Inesa Chilingaryan was involved in several projects conducted by the Center for Health Services Research and Development of the AUA School of Public Health.   

 Varduhi

Varduhi Hayrumyan  (AUA MPH 2016), Research Assistant at the Center for Health Services Research and Development (CHSR)
Human Protections Administrator, Institutional Review Boards, AUA

Varduhi Hayrumyan is a Research Assistant at the Zvart Avedisian Onanian Center for Health Services Research and Development (CHSR). She he has joined the CHSR in 2015 and has been involved in a number of projects conducted by CHSR, particularly those focusing on Tobacco Control. Since 2017 she is the Human Protections Administrator of the Institutional Review Boards of the American University of Armenia. She has made numerous presentations of her work at international scientific conferences. She received a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the American University of Armenia in 2016. During her studies she received full merit-based scholarship from AUA and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. She devoted her Master’s thesis project to the investigation of smoking cessation practices among myocardial infarction survivors. Varduhi has also earned a Master of Science (MS) in Applied Biosciences (Healthcare Biotechnology) from Yerevan State University, Department of Biology with an honor diploma.

Vahe Krmoyan (AUA MPH 2016), Health and Social Programs Officer, Fund for Armenian Relief, Yerevan, Armenia

Dr. Vahe Krmoyan is working at Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) as Health and Social Programs Officer for healthcare projects. His main job includes designing, monitoring and evaluation health projects. FAR particularly focuses on programs aiming to address malnutrition and cognitive development issues among children in Berd area Tavush region. He also assists to coordinate Continuing Medical Education program, for physicians from different regions of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, in collaboration with Armenian American Health Professional Organization.

He has been selected competitively as a medical and public health programs consultant at Helsinki Citizens Assembly Vanadzor (HCAV). His primary duties include dealing with complicated clinical cases of military recruits. In particular, cases involving violation of human rights and medical ethics, while being provided medical services. He provides consultancy for public health research programs methodologies. He is also involved in amending legislation on medical checkups for conscripts and military personnel.

Dr. Krmoyan received MD degree from Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) and MPH degree from the American University of Armenia (AUA) in 2016. For his studies at AUA, he received a full scholarship from AUA and the RA Ministry of Education and Science. He also, holds a degree Bachelor of Medical Sciences (YSMU, 2013). Dr. Krmoyan is currently pursuing residency program in the department of Pathology and Clinical Morphology at YSMU. He is involved in the working group for the development of National Guidelines in Clinical Pathology.

Previously he has worked as a research assistant, in a project at the Center for Health Services Research and Development (CHSR), AUA. In 2015 he consulted EKENG CJSC on the standardization and implementation of ICD-10 coding system, in the scope of implementing E-Health program in Armenia. Before joining HCAV as a consultant, he worked with them conducting monitoring in the hospitals throughout Armenia in 2014.

 

Hratchia Lylozian (AUA MPH 2016), TB Services Quality Assurance and Research Expert, National TB Control Center of the Ministry of Health of Armenia 

Dr. Hratchia Lylozian has been working at the National Tuberculosis Control Centre (NTCC) of the Ministry of Health of Armenia since 2016 as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, and in January 2017 he was promoted to the position of TB Services Quality Assurance and Research Expert. Dr. Lylozian has been involved in research studies at the NTCC which aim to improve patients’ quality of care and TB services structural and financial reforms. He also works at the Zvart Avedisian Onanian Center for Health Services Research and Development (CHSR) helping to coordinate the activities of Entrepreneurs in Health Project of the Turpanjian Rural Development Program. He has also been involved in a number of projects conducted by the CHSR particularly focusing on tuberculosis control.

Dr. Lylozian has completed his medical education at the Yerevan State Medical University in 2011, and in 2012 he received his General Practitioner degree from the same institution.  In 2016 he earned his MPH degree from the Gerald and Patricia Turpanjian School of Public Health of the American University of Armenia.
